Hello, I'm a new user so be gentle if I am in the wrong area. I am looking for a book I read about 30 years ago. I remember very little about it except that it was a short powerful cautionary children's tale about how innocent and impressionable children are. A child goes to first grade and is taught some pretty disturbing things by his teacher and, of course, believes these things to be true despite his parents later attempts to tell the child that the teacher is wrong.
I know this is pretty vague, but thought I'd give it a try. Thanks for any help you can provide.
Edit: The more I think about it, I believe the subjects discussed by the teacher were communist in nature.
