Anyone into Love and Arthur Lee here? I believe "Forever Changes" and "Da Capo" are the best rock albums ever made. The music is so sublime and complex, fire & air, dread and loveliness. What a pity the genuis Lee is no longer alive (he died last year).
 
I agree. I definitely see da Capo and Forever Changes as the best albums from the 60’s era. Nothing can summon up as much weirdness and bad vibes together with the love & beauty the group displayed in sound. Listening to these songs is like seeing the world in a kaleidoscope; a world with its colours enhanced. Lee captured grey & brown as well as the yellow & green. That is what makes these albums so fine. They balance on an edge of emotions which is very rarely recorded.
