Do all of you realize that until now, the last thread on Lost was created and actively posted upon at the end of last season? WE HAVE HAD ALMOST A WHOLE SEASON OF DISCOVERIES AND NO ONE HAS CREATED ANOTHER THREAD?! Shame, shame. Okay let's hear about me (the Hanso Foundation). What does everyone think about that FOR A STARTER?

the Others are the scientists from the Hanso Foundation who manned the hatches, and that the "great man" that "Henry Gale" reffered to is Dr Candle. I have no ideas on why they left the hatches, though.

Where did you get Dr. Candle from? The HansoFoundation website? And as far as the Others go as being the scientists, who left the hatches, I don't think so because the people that were originally in all of the hatches (except the middle one) were test subjects, not scientists. The people at the camp where Michael and Walt are taken do, however, seem to have a lot of not only scientific, but also psychological knowledge. The Hanso Foundation somehow is funding the whole Dharma Initiative without allowing the public to know, so obviously, something perverse must have been going on.

I had heard that - that sounds awesome! I wonder if he is the guy on the boat then? It's obviously not rescuers because they still tramp across to the other side of the island after seeing who is on the boat.

OMGOSH! DID YOU SEE THE SEASON FINALE! I was on an airplane while I was watching it on my iPod and I FREAKED OUT! It was amazing and I thought I was gonna cry it was so good.

The producers made a statement saying that the two men were speaking Portuguese in the end and they said that Portuguese is only spoken in Brazil and Portugal. This means that the desolate and freezing outside we saw through the window was either Brazil or Portugal. I have this huge theory formulated about the whole show, but I don't have enough time to type it right now. Later, for sure.
