I think 'safe' is the perfect way to describe Albom's work. They are nice and enjoyable and there's not really anything that someone could find offensive. I loved Tuesdays with Morrie but I don't know that I feel the need to read anymore of his work.

I have to disagree with last two posters.

I read 'Tuesdays with Morrie' and was disappointed. It was OK but I'd expected something better. So I put off 'The Five People you Meet in Heaven' until this week.

I found it better than I'd expected. Pretty good in fact.
