Am new to the site and thought maybe sombody might be able to help.
I am looking for a book, it was set in early 1800's and was about a english women who was caught stealing (seem to think it was a loaf of bread) and was deported to Australia. The book is about her story on the ship, she had a baby while being deported.
It is a real stab in the dark as i dont know the author either, there was a tv program about it recently though.
Has anyone any ideas?
