I read a book about 10 years ago, first in a series and then lost the book to never remember the author or the book. I would like to continue reading the series so maybe if I post a short synopsis of what I remember about the book someone can help..
The main character was probabaly ex navy seal. In the begining he and his wife were out and they get car jacked. Both are shot with a shot gun, the wife dies, he lives, wakes up later in a hospital pissed. Disguises himself as a bumb and goes back to the neighbor hood and hunts down and kills the guy who killed his wife. During this time I think he also gets sent on a missin to russia to help some US airforce pilots escape a interogation center there and grabs the camp commodant who ends up defecting.
At the end the Cia or whoever help him fake his death in boating accident while being chased by the coast guard.
If anyone has read a story like this please post the book name or author.. would really like to read more of this series.
