This book is a book I read a couple years ago, and never finished. Every couple months something brings memories of this book back and I look obsessively around the net but can't find anything, nor even a decent engine with which to search around the parameters I remember. So anyone who can help me remember the title, I'd greatly appreciate it.
So what I remember is as follows. I know the main character is Male, and the plot involves him going on some sort of quest for something. In the first few chapters of the book he is met by a wise panda who I think might start him on this quest. Also, somewhere in the book he fights dragon's or a dragon by a waterfall, I think. The only visually snagging thing in my memory is that, once again I think, the cover is yellow with a picture of this panda with a bamboo stock.
Anyhow, sorry there's so little to go on, and this is obviously why my previous searching has turned up nil. But I hope one of you knows what I'm talking about and can remind me of the title, because I'd very much like to re-read and even finish this book, as I was too young to read it when I first tried.
