So this Facebook post comes up this morning... We have a new forum. And it matches a big part of my current life, reading, and considering the implications.

Now I don't read what a lot of my friends do, but that's why there are a gazillion books available.

And I don't find stuff on the shelves all that accessible, so this Kindle Fire is pretty cool for that, as long as I can figure out some non-Amazon additional sources. Some of their deeper stuff can get pricy.

In the late stretches of a great piece of history now. And I'll look for what's next, after I read through the six or eight already lined up.

Glad to be here. Thanks for the invite, SuperReaderGirl!

As it is the Centenary of WWI, you are in for a treat.

We're happy to have you! :) I'm curious to know what's already in your TBR (to-be-read) list.

Me too. I'll need to check the Kindle carousel.

Right now, I'm reading the Liberation Trilogy on US participating in WE2 in Western Europe. The author's name, Rick something, escapes me momentarily, but he won a Pulitzer, so somebody cared. An excellent historical work, which, among other things, gives insight into the psychological effect of front line combatants experience.

More to see, but the next one will be shorter and lighter.
