Hi, My name is Matt and I've searched for a book forum that would allow me to connect with fellow readers. Google is a great tool.
I have many interests, but I love reading and occasionally writing. I wouldn't call myself a writer, just a guy who likes to write.
When I was 14, I never used to read except in school. Then I had to go live on a farm for two months, with no cable tv.. The reading bug hit me with Michael Crichton's Andromeda strain. I proceeded to buy all of his books, then move on to fantasy and most other genres.. I haven't really kept count but I've probably read over 300 books since.
Just now getting into the Kindle ; Which means I've downgraded my paperback library and filled up my kindle with books. I actually prefer reading on the Kindle besides the sweet smell of a new book that is.
My favorite genres are fantasy, spy fiction and mystery/thrillers. I'll read anything in these genres if its good but I do have my favorites where I'll read all their books.
