Now, I listened to many English channels on tv
I want to know what kind of books to read, especially in English literature
Who are the best writers who read them
Is there any one guide me on some of the books that I will read
Are you one of the friendly advice Li in the matter of learning English??
thanks.

Hi Welcome,

Watching movies and TV is a good way to learn English. It doesn't really matter what you read so long as you enjoy reading it, even if the book is too 'difficult' for you and you don't understand everything.

The other thing to do is PRACTICE your English. Don't be afraid to speak it.

Good Luck.

What kind of books do you like reading? Mystery? Adventure? Travel? Fiction?

Thank you for response
In fact I'm trying to read in order to recognize the building of the text
In fact, I do not know in any kind read so that I asked
I want to read in order to more than my ability to speak so that I can handle in public life

What kind advise me read??

I learned to type at a forum similar to this. The best way to do something like understanding the English language better is to experience as much of it as you possibly can.

To that end, I would actually advice you to read some YA and middle grade stories. (I am an adult but YA is one of my favorite genres.) I say Young Adult because they tend to steer clear of using crazy-big words.

Note: a lot of my recommendations can be found elsewhere in these forums. They tend to fall into the science fiction genre as well.
- Margaret Peterson Haddix has a series called Shadow Children about a future where people are only allowed 2 children.
- I've always enjoyed the Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys Supermysteries, but you may only be able to find them on ebay.
- Heir Apparent by Vivian Vande Veld

It is very difficult to offer suggestions without having some idea of what you like to read.

When you read in your home language - what kind of books do you like to read?

Have you considered Historical Fiction?

Some good but easy to read authors are:

Lindsey Davis
(Ancient Rome)

Edward Rutherford
The history of various places around the world - long but easy reading.
