Next movie you are planning to watch

I've always wanted to see Ed Wood because I'm a fan of his movies. They're so classic.* Never quite got around to it, but I just picked up a VHS tape for a dollar, so now it's on the top of my to-watch pile.

My public library is phasing out their VHS collection, so we've had thousands to browse through.

* -ly bad.

Godfather II is one of the cinematic rarities where the sequel was better than the original.

Well we watched the original a while ago. I didn't like the horse's head in the bed part so I hid behind my boyfriend. :eek:

The endorsement I was given was "If you are a big fan of the series you will like it."

That does nothing for my enthusiasm to see it.

The others being Aliens and Indiana Jones & The Temple of Doom, of course.

Lies!

You can't compare Alien to Aliens. Alien is a classic Sci-Fi horror flick and Aliens is THE classic Sci-Fi action flick. It's not fair to compare the movies to each other.

You're the first person I met that thought Temple of Doom was superior to Raiders.:confused:

I'm sure you'll cope.

The first half hour or so of Alien I find to be tedious. I realize this was intentional and that Ridley Scott was doing this in order to build up tension and all, but whenever I watch it I find myself saying "Enough already" (or something similar). I never find myself thinking that with Aliens.

And if you think that's surprising, I also enjoyed Alien 3 (even though the other two are more well-crafted). OH NOES
