Wow, RaVeN, yet again you manage to startle us with your insights into a world torn apart by war.

I salute you, my good man, and I ask, nay beg of you to share more of your wisdom with us. We don't deserve it, I know, but please, teach us, for we are heathens - teach us how the world works.

Enlighten us.

Cheers, Martin

Relax Mungo sniffer.

"Huh"...as in it provoked thought.

Time to trade your high horse in for a circus pony. :p

Better to attack the photos and the videos than to face up to the reality of war.

insightful. :)

In our own personal lives, too many of us believe that we are unable to make a difference on the larger issues, so we immerse ourselves in criticizing, defending, proving, debating.... well, don't know. *speechless*

defending or criticizing violence is idiotic. most people don't even know how violent they are. they hope for non-violence, yet there is still conflict inside of them. it's complex and the worst forms of violence are the most subtle. when we insult or roll our eyes at someone, that is violence. it's not hard to see how wars are just a spectacular and bloody projection of our everyday lives. we can't stop them, they're already in movement, but we are all responsible for wars. if we are interested in stopping them, you and I can see what are the causes of wars. peace comes when we can observe violence without condemning it or running away from it. when there is no conflict within ourseves.

thank you, I'll be here all week.

goodnight.
