Not bad for a book of "chicklit". Like many of you, I think it was strange how the Nanny was so passive and never complained to her bosses. It makes sense how she wanted to stay only to take care of their son as much as possible, but I was hoping that towards the end she'd really let the X family have it.
On a more positive note, I did enjoy the sarcastic comments and parody of self-obsessed New York socialites/housewives. I imagine this book must have been very cathartic for both authors. At least they managed to get the last laugh . . . or enjoy some form of success. BTW, there's going to be a film version coming out in September, starring Scarlett Johannsen and Laura Linney. You can find the trailer on Youtube or any other file-sharing site.
