Not allowed to post replies?

I received a response to a post I had made and decided to leave a reply today.

Your website told me that I was not going to be allowed to do this as I would first have to leave 15 other posts? You have got to be kidding. Or is your software suffering a breakdown today?

What was the exact error you received? As Libra mentioned, users can not incorporate links into their posts until they have a post count of 15 or more.

Aha!

Perhaps that was the problem, but the message I received did not inform me of that. It told me that I could not 'post to external links' until I had posted 9 comments (or some number such as that), which is quite a different error message. This did not help me correct the problem and the result was that each time I tried to inform a forum participant that they had given me the correct answer, I was locked out from leaving a reply. Post to external links does not say 'cannot include links' in your message, it says I cannot 'post to external links'. Please excuse me if I have the server message not exactly right but I am telling you the error message from memmory of about 8 or more hours ago. As far as I was concerned, I was trying to post a reply to a website (yours) which I had obviously already posted to which I certainly did consider an external link.

All in all I am delighted that someone figured out my mystery movie which I have already ordered a copy of!

Thanks for your reply which I understand much better than the goofy server message that I repeatedly received, or basicly misunderstood... be it my own reading difficiency or someone's writing glitch.
