I am opening a bookstore on the 21st of August 2007. I need to know what kind of books and annuals people like.

If you can tell me what you like, it will most likely be stocked. It will be called ZR Books.

Please vote what you like best on the poll as well, but also post what books you like if they are not on the poll.

If you have any more questions, please PM me.

Scott

I'd vote BUT I don't know what an annual is. Where are you opening your store?

Congratulations by the way! You're going to be living my dream!

An Annual is a book in the UK which is published every year, around Christmas time. It is an online store. What are your favourite books anyway? It is good because Bloomsbury have sent us loads of Harry Potter Merchandise!

I haven't read an annual in years, but I never liked the Beano. My favourite annual was Whizzer and Chips but I don't think they exist anymore. :(

From the list it has the be the Dandy.

Right. You get a comic and it comes out once a week with a free sweetie on the front. Then at Christmas they bring out a book version. All the same characters and no free sweetie. In my day they were mostly Crimbo themed with snow and present related tales, though there were some non-wintery comic strips in there.

Oh. OK, I get this now. Still not something I would buy.
