I started reading it, it's pretty good but it should be accompanied by a another introductory book. Anyway, thanks for the advice.Sar said:Whilst I haven't read it I have heard Think is a really good book. If it is something to give you a basic grounding in philosophy you might want to look at Nigel Warburton's "Philosophy: The Basics" which covers key areas in philosophy in an easy to understand but non patronising way.

It's pretty good. It broadens your scope of thinking plus it shows you the Socrate's basic philosophical thinking is that we know nothing and accusing many professionals of ignorance in their field. Plus it shows you how much he held to his thoughts and believes. It's pretty interesting and after all it's nice to realize and understand how philosophical thinking has emerged during that time.Choc said:I was actually conisidering checking out that book and maybe one or two of Plato's.
