Hello? A polite request will suffice. I'm pretty accessible and helpful. You can upload an avatar into your profile from day 1. There is no time restriction. Click on your name at the top right to access the menu.

You don't PICK the book of the month, you can suggest one when the next one rolls around. Hopefully it will get enough votes to be read.

If you take the time to explore the BOTM threads you will find a sub-section:
