Ok LOL this requires a bit of explanation:

This is a giant inflatable rubber duck that is the creation of a Dutch artist and has been transported around the world since 2007, bringing a message of peace and harmony. It has previously been to Osaka, Japan, Sydney, Sao Paulo, Auckland, New Zealand, and Amsterdam.

This is what it looked like on its arrival:



Apparently it had to be deflated soon after arrival due to difficulties with high winds.

A mainland visitor to Hong Kong posted this sad picture on Weibo (Chinese Twitter) today with the caption:

Arrived in Hong Kong to witness a tragedy, bird flu is terrible!

yup I nearly ruptured something vital I laughed so hard. Especially as said person was from Shanghai where they have just had a new outbreak.
