A photo of our oldest daughter's trashed out room...before we went in an cleaned it up ourselves. She was about 18 or 19, and we'd begged and pleaded for her to do it herself, but she kept ignoring us. Her room was like something off of Hoarders; nasty spills, thick layers of papers, books, clothes, etc. She trashed us to all her friends for doing so, but we were afraid of mice and bugs...and mold. Now that she's pushing 30, she's doing much better in her own home..

I was riding to work a few weeks ago just after a good rain. The sky was still cloudy except for the sky directly over the blue ridge mountains. Normally, a haze covers the blue ridge mountains like a great blue veil; but not that day. The mountain was as clear as I'd ever seen it, illumined by the sunbeams spilling through the hole in the clouds.

A few years ago, a local church ran out of room on their public sign and so chose to abbreviate the Apostle's Creed like this:

"On the third day he rose
ascended into heaven,
is seated at the right hand of the Father,
he will come again to judge the living-dead."

I wish I had a photo of that.

ROFLMAO I have to agree though that some church goers are like the living-dead :rofl

the dandelions in the lawn yesterday in the brief moment before the sun disappeared. Although I might have a chance today because so far so good on sunshine. If only there weren't trees casting shadows on them at the moment I might even have dared the frost outside to get a shot of them in the early morning light, but so far, no light actually on them. (its 7 am here)

it used to but I think that now I just accept it runs mysteriously on its own with no input from me required and I leave it to get on with it :)

SUPERHERO!

If you had to have superhero powers what would they be?
 
definitely flight, heat vision I've never seen the use for really unless you like to have the ability to microwave your own food ..or are heavily into welding :D Superstrength could also have its drawbacks. Super hearing - shudder! no thanks - life is noisy enough as it is. invisibility could be quite cool. I'd sort of like an X-men-esque ability to morph into other shapes. I'd quite like to be a cat ...

so yeah flight, invisibility and some kind of morphing ability :)

It's a toss up between flying and be able to use and direct fire at will.
