Back in the day (circa 2000-2002) I used to play Janes Fleet Command over the internets with a friend in Georgia. I used to consistently sink his fleet by simultaneously launching multiple missiles at each ship thereby overwhelming his anti-missile defenses. He said this was "cheating". So, cheating or valid modern naval tactic?

Valid tactic. Had the Argentinians employed it instead of being timid about losing pilots and expending their precious stores of Exocets they would have prevailed in the Falklands. At least initially, that is, I am fairly certain the Brits would have been back.

It is also what the Chinese plan to do should we decide to invade them. lulz
