I remember wanting to be an athlete when I was very young, but I figured I would probably end up in a factory building cars like so many of my relatives. It turned out that building cars in Detroit was a dying profession.

Yes, I was athletics crazy in school, hurdles, high jump, discus, but that all ended once I left school and had to start work, wish I had some of that energy now!

From writing my next one, writer's block from hell. I can't see the story anymore. Reading the last book I started, gave it to someone else to read in mid chapter. Yeah, I have no idea why I did that either.
