Hey Readers , i have a question about reading :

Do you think that a good reader , read all kind of books ? Because for me i hate read books of stories..i found it boring but others thought that read it makes your level up in language ..

I don't know what you mean about "good" reader. Explain what you mean by good reader and you'll get answers that mean something.

A Renaissance man? I guess they would have to read a lot on a wide variety of subjects. hands on learning will only get you so far.

I would say that if you are trying to learn a language (or improve your use of your native language), then reading stories will help a lot with common word usage, dialogue, and maybe with different ways of looking at and dealing with conflict. I wouldn't say you NEED to read stories to be a "good" reader, but I think there is a lot of enjoyment - and even learning - that can be found in reading stories.
