During the summer I culled out more than 10 boxes of books, which I donated to two different libraries for resale. Mind, I'd begged the kids to browse the library in the basement til I was blue in the face..Last week, as we were checking out at the library, nine year old Ethan asked me for some change to purchase a book off the sale cart...Yup, one of those I'd donated. I know for a fact that the last kid to read that book is now 25 yrs old...so you know it sat sad and lonely on that shelf a Long Time:whistling:

Now this is funny. I was going to purchase this one next week (new for 15 plus dollars)...but I found it today, in very good condition, at my local Goodwill shop for 75 cents. Super cool!

Ohhh. My partners mom lent this to me this summer. I really liked it. I paraphrase the little parable about Heaven/Hell and Chopsticks all the time.

The most recent books I bought were "A Walk In The Woods" by Bill Bryson and "1776" by David McCullough, but they were Christmas gifts for my mother and father respectively. I'd like to read them, too, someday haha.
