I got to chapter three in this book before I realized I couldn't force myself to read anymore. Thank goodness I only checked it out from the library.

The trilogy was the first thing I read after I graduated high school. Love it. :sigh:

Heh, nope. Guess not.It's not for everyone I guess.
Beauty's Release is also the first non-graphic novel to make me cry. Just thought I'd share.

Picked up Palahniuk's Snuff today. I've been seeing it in the bargain area at B&N for awhile. It's a nice hard cover for under $5. I've only read some of his short stories from Playboy (also in his Haunted), I know a lot of people who like him though... we'll see.

I liked Snuff too but the ending was a bit meh.

Maybe a little bit, yeah. Though I can't think of a suitable ending for that particular story... Or maybe I can?
Have you read Diary? I loved that one, it got me hooked on Palahniuk again.I bought The Secret in Their Eyes, by Eduardo Sacheri, the novel on which the Argentinian film that won the Oscar this year was based.
