I bought Independent People by Halldor Laxness and number9dream by David Mitchell to take me up to 110 books for the year. :eek:

I was only going into the store for Erskine Caldwell's Tobacco Road, as I want to read that.
 
Today I bought the Hollow Years by Eugen Weber, the Piano Tuner by Daniel Mason, Sarum & London by Edward Rutherfurd, Stiff by Mary Roach, the Spirit Catches You And You Fall Down by Anne Fadiman & A Beautiful Mind by Sylvia Nasar.

So assuming you paid full price for those books, you've spent £768.90 on books this year! I think you should be disowned for that. ;)
