Since we seem to have some sci-fi/fantasy fans and we've done A to Z games covering general fiction, how about A to Z for sci-Fi only?

Authors or titles.

I'll start with:
A for Douglas Adams - wrote the Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy series.

G is for David Gemmel. I can't remember the titles of his books but he used to write for the Hastings Observer.

Hocus Pocus, by Kurt Vonnegut.

Kaleidoscopic weirdness from one of the giants of 20th Century American writing. Vonnegut is one of the few writers who still draws me to the SF genre. (Well, not any more, sadly, as Timequake is likely to be his literal as well as literary swansong.)

Qeng Ho - series by Vernor Vinge

BTW, never read anything by Vinge, but have heard good things. Anyone read this series or anything else by him?

R is for Ray Bradbury ptobably best known for Fahrenheit 451. Mind you more like a horror story than Sci Fi, all that book burning.
