That's the title of my first (and, so far, only) book: Screwed up Somehow but not Stupid: Life with a Learning Disability.
I am LD. I have nonverbal learning disabilities which basically means I am bad at a lot of nonverbal stuff.
When I was 5 a psychologist told my parents I had minimal brain dysfunction and "would never go to college". My mom started a school for me. I skipped 12th grade, did college in 3 years, got my BA at 20 and have a PhD.
