As one of the few US smoker left (as smoking has practically been banned in every public area). I feel I have more of a psychological addiction than I do a physical addiction to the nicotine. When I am sick or stuck in a place where I can't smoke for a few days...I don't feel like I physically miss the nicotine - I miss more of the action of smoking. I don't think nicotine has a very long 1/2 life in your body. Personally, I feel more of a physical effect on my body if I don't have caffine for a day...
