Something about a kid-dolphin

Hello there,
I have this problem seriously bugging me. There is a book I'm sure is called Dolphin boy but it seems not. It is about a boy and a girl who's parents are divorced for "serious matters" who make a journey to Scotland where their mum/dad is. The boy has an unusual trait that he can survive underwater for a very long time. He eventually, when he goes to the house where "strange" children are, that he has dolphin genes in him. Does anybody know what this book is called and the author?
Thank you!

Here are two possibilities.

Dolphin Boy
by Roy Meyers - 1967

“A boy whose mother was exposed to a dose of radiation when pregnant is endowed with the power to breathe long enough to live with dolphins: fortunate indeed, because a chance explosion tosses him into the sea where a bereaved dolphin mother brings him up.”

Dolphin Boy
by Julie Bertagna

“A boy who won't speak meets a lost dolphin. Trapped in loneliness, a bond of friendship grows between them that leads the way to happiness and freedom for both the boy and the dolphin.”

Thanks for you help, but sadly it's definetly not them. The boy has a sister, and parents who are divorced. The title may not even have dolphin in it I am not too sure.
