Star Wars: Revelations

A group of Star Wars fans have made a 40 minute Star Wars movie called "Revelations" Looks really damn good!

The acting is actually not too good and there are some really cheesy lines - but then the acting in the real Star Wars movies isn't either good and it had more than enough cheese:p

The Special Effects are really impressive!!!! There are space ship battles, laser gun fights, light sabers duels, and so on.

Looks really good and even with it's faults ( some bad acting and cheesy lines ) I am impressed with this effort! Nobody was paid and the movie is free for download when it's finally ready ( some time in April, I think ) so will be downloading it! It can't be any worse than the soulless cash in that Lucas makes these days!

I know! It sucks! :(

It was working just an hour ago and now it's gone down! Hope it comes back up again soon :)
 
Just found this. Looks a very good fan-film. Amazing that these guys went to all the effort for non-profit.
 
Yeah, it's really amazing for a fan movie. The special effects are fantastic! I thought it was excellent for an amature movie. If you watch it, let me know what you think of it :)
 
I've just watched this. It's amazing for a fan movie! I found a review site that says they spent $20,000 to make it, and a lot of that was for the camera.

Sure, the story is a bit off, and the acting made me cringe at times, but the effects are nothing short of spectacular. As the director said, imaging what they could do given a Lucas-style budget.
 
I agree with you! The acting and the story was a bit off... But yes, so amazing for a fan flick! Just IMAGINE what they would do with a full budget! I was very imrpessed. Despite it's failings, which I let them off because they are just amatures, I thought it was a pretty good movie!
