Well, whatever King does, he's making money at it.
I couldn't read several of his, too creepy. But. I did read and love The Stand, and a few others. I have his Dark Tower series waiting for me, as well as 11/22/63.
I recently picked up a copy of Carrie, backstory is that when I was in jr high the first movie came out...I went with my sister and her friends...the tombstone scene at the end made the whole theater scream. Carrie was the misfit hero to all of us who wanted revenge. The book is a bit oddly written, but just as good as it was then. Cujo is one I want to read, 11/22/63 was just too much book in my opinion.
I am big fan of Stephen King's books, Recently completed Mr. Mercedes (Bill Hodges Trilogy no.1), It reveals the never ending war between the good and the evil.
