This old senior says "thank u ver much" Did you recognize the phrase.....yep, I am almost as old as Elvis.
He lived only a couple of miles from me here in Memphis...
I met him a more than once before he became truly famous. In fact, he came and played at one our high school auditorium performances. He held my nieces hand the day we met him personally....she didn't wash it for two weeks.
So, old in body I am, just a kid in a wrinkled suit I tell the grands.
My tastes have changed thru the years, however, the keepers I have kept for years because they did more than hypnotise, they added something for me to think about later. In books one can learn a great deal about the writer and a great deal of how others see life.
