I am Emperor WeeGee, the Second, and i came here because i've really been into books recently, so bow to your ruler! :D

hehe, as u can see, my sense of humor is kinda weird :p

Anyways, hi. I like writing text and music more than i like reading, but i do like to read a good book every once in a while. Im more like a casual reader.
I like very specific kinds of books and i wanted you to point one out for me :D

Basically, i like books with GOOD stories and twists, good characters and good character development and lastly, good TENSION! I recgonize that many detective novels could fit into those specifications but i don't know any good ones :p

Also, i've been wanting to read a HORROR book, but a horror book that also has everything mentioned above, and to my knowlodge, these are a bit hard to find, specially considering the fact that most horror books have stories like "house haunted by the devil with some crazy teenagers". Ugh, too clichê. Maybe a horror detective book would be good also? :D

So, any suggestions guys? :D

You are deep in our force field now and shall never escape. Welcome. :D

"Basically, i like books with GOOD stories and twists, good characters and good character development and lastly, good TENSION! " eh?

I bet there are many authors who wish they could write books that good.

How about The Intercept by Dick Wolf?

The fae do not bow to common human rulers. Just doesn't happen. :p

I don't read horror, so can't help you there. However, considering your sense of humor and interest in mystery ... I wonder if you are familiar with the Jim Butcher "Dresden Files" series? Jim Butcher has a wonderful writing style and his main character, Harry Dresden (a sort of hard luck case reluctant wizard) is very likable. Modern day. Set in Chicago.

Welcome emperor! You haven't found Sparta, only a ship of fools.:devillook

Don't know much about horror other than George W. Bush's speeches, Saul Bellow's writing, as well as the Los Angeles Lakers. Sorry, but glad to see you're with us!!:)
