Suggestion for forum software upgrades

When an update is made to the vBulletin forum software, would it be possible to post a quick description of the changes made and new features introduced. Failing that a link to a site that gives that info?

Regards,

K-S

Most upgrades are minor - bug fixes etc. This one adds some new features, some of which I'm still exploring myself :)

The main vbulletin website is at www.vbulletin.com and the announcment re v3.5.0 is here.

I had a look through the two links you put there, Darren, but couldn't find an answer to this question. I also think it's something that a few others may want to know.

What's the 'warn' percentage at the top of each of our posts? Is this based on the content of the message or some overall percentage we accrue if we step over the line? Is it moderator defined or defined by something else?

Also, is the 'Currently Reading' line going to come back? Maybe I'm jumping the gun, as I realise you may still be sorting things out and customising the new software.

The warn % is a piece of experimental code. We're considering implementing a new warning system rather than having to keep track of things manually.

The currently reading will come back soon.

I guess the Four Word Story is gone for good? Thats okay with me, but I found it to be harmless enough -- and kind of amusing. I would liken it to sporadically wandering over to put a piece of the jigsaw puzzle into place whilst conducting the serious business of enjoying Thanksgiving Day with the family.

Ah, well. Life goes on... now, back to the books!

(But 'cheers' to the hams as well as well as to the turkeys.)

;)
