So is Anna Karenina your suggestion for December BOTM or its what your currently reading? I am totally in for a December read, or! If you want detective novels may I suggest A is for Alibi by sue Grafton?

I'm trying to read Anna Karenina at the moment but progress is extremely slow as uni has just started again. So much reading to do, so little time.

I'm sorry, I don't remember myself making December's BOTM theme winners of the Women's Prize for Fiction, Man Booker, et cetera.

Occlith suggested prize winners for this month's theme, I thought - given that you've mentioned the Bailey's Women's Prize - you were going along with that, a logical assumption.

Ah, the world makes sense again.
I had already started this thread before Occlith made that suggestion so I thought it would unnecessarily confuse things if I'd change the theme of no particular theme to prize winners (and look how well that turned out...uhhhh!). Prize winners will be January's theme though.
No, Americanah is the only suggestion posted so far.
The idea is to get several suggestions in this thread before getting the poll up.

Ok from the SHORTLISTED FOR THE BAILEY’S WOMEN’S PRIZE FOR FICTION 2014. I choose Americanah, and the goldfinch. Outside of Bailey's women prize I'm up for anything. "Anna Karenina" jk or what ever else is nominated. I'm excited to vote
