So are you saying there are some genres we needn't even bother suggesting? Because if that's the case I've been going about this all wrong. I figured the only requirements were (1.) written words and (2.) those words contained within some sort of portable reading device, preferably a book.

What I suggested (The Abstinence Teacher)has nothing to do with mystery, but it has been mentioned to choose mystery for January and I want to know if we all agree.:)

All suggestions are welcomed joderu95;)

Ok, just checking. No animosity in my comment I just want to nominate books that actually can be picked. For what it's worth I say whatever gets the most votes wins, regardless of genre.

So these are the titles nominated so far:

An American Tragedy by Theodore Dreiser
The Heart of the Matter by Graham Greene
Death Comes for the Archbishop by Willa Cather
The Age of Innocence by Edith Wharton
The Portrait of a Lady by Henry James
The Abstinence Teacher-Tom Perrotta
Out of Africa by Isaak Dinesen
Hard Times by Charles Dickens
A Thief of Time by Tony Hillerman (Indian pots, the American southest)
Nine Tailors by Dorothy Sayers (Lord Peter Wimsey, church bells)
A Study in Scarlet by Arthur Conan Doyle (Sherlock Holmes)
The King of Methlehem - Mark Lindquist

Should we start picking one from this list or keep the suggestions coming?

Trabalho agradável Landslide.:)
