Hi all,
I'm a 22-year old Chinese girl, living in Austria. My native language isn't English - so please bear with me if I'm making any mistakes :eek:
I've been looking for some time already for a book forum where I can discuss my favorite pastime with people love books as much as I do. I've been browsing through this bord for some days now, and I think this is just the perfect place for me :D

Well, I guess I should give you a basic idea about the sort of books I like to read. I usually stick to Fantasy and Science Fiction, but I also like to 'experiment' and get to know new authors. In fact, I hope to get lots of recommendations from the discussions on this site here... although, maybe this isn't a good idea after all... I already spend too much money on books... :p

Ok, don't know what else to say right now... so this are the books I read in the last few weeks:

  • Christopher Moore: Lamb - The Gospel According to Biff -- a hilariously funny story about Christ's childhood with his friend Biff
  • Terry Pratchett/Neil Gaiman: Goods Omens
  • Neil Stephenson: Diamond Age
  • Akif Pirinccin: Yin -- German author who writes about the world after all men die due to a virus that only affects the male population
  • Dan Brown: Digital Fortress
