Tea

I love tea and I love trying different flavors of it. Right now my absolute favorites are Chai Spice and Licorice. I know tea has lots of great health benefits too. So:

Do you drink tea?

What flavors are your favorite or do you just like it plain?

What do you put in it? Sugar? Lemon? Honey? Milk? Other?

Do you prefer herbal, black, or white tea? Does it vary based on your mood/circumstances?

Would you ever switch from coffee to tea and why?

Do you drink tea?
...Yes, occasionally

What flavors are your favorite or do you just like it plain?
...the orange and spice

What do you put in it? Sugar? Lemon? Honey? Milk? Other?
...either sugar, lemon, or honey...depends on the mood

Do you prefer herbal, black, or white tea? Does it vary based on your mood/circumstances?
...black tea and sometimes green tea

Would you ever switch from coffee to tea and why?
...no, I need my one cup of coffee daily

Do you drink tea? Yes. I have a few cups a week, but tend for a cup a day in the winter.

What flavors are your favorite or do you just like it plain? I like green tea, earl grey, english breakfast, regular old red rose and a few herbal/fruit types as well.

What do you put in it? Sugar? Lemon? Honey? Milk? Other? I usually drink it plain, but will add a tiny bit of sugar or honey if I'm feeling bored.

Do you prefer herbal, black, or white tea? Does it vary based on your mood/circumstances? I just drink whatever is in the baggie I grab first out of the bin.

Would you ever switch from coffee to tea and why? I hate coffee.

We drink a mix of Ceylon O.P. and Lapsang Souchong, both whole leaf, made in a large pot and strained over the cup. Probably three or four rounds per day. The English believe that tea is the remedy for everything from physical pain to heartache to bad weather to bad business, and my hub can't survive without it.

There's something about the 'concept' of tea that I just adore. It gets me motivated and makes me knuckle down to work. I've only recently started drinking it in the last 2 years after coffee and I began to have disagreements. I think it has something to do with percolated coffee, which is all I can really get in my small Canadian town. Espresso and I get along famously, but alas that's not an option in this region.

I really only like black teas as I could never quite stomach the herbal stuff. English breakfast is my choice, and I really don't care for earl grey at all. I add milk (NOT cream) and a half teaspoon of sugar. And if there's a cookie or a tea biscuit to accompany it that just makes my day! I generally have at least one cup a day, usually two or even three when I'm working hard. Sometimes I try and sneak a coffee in too.

I've tried chai once or twice and I think it could grow on me. A friend of mine makes this exotic African tea which is incredible - you add honey to the teapot and it's the sweetest tangy taste! I'll ask her what it is next time I see her, because I've forgotten the name again.

Do you drink tea?
As often as I can! Mom can make a pitcher of it and it will be lucky to survive two hours before I have it empty!

What flavors are your favorite or do you just like it plain?
Although I tend to drink it plain most of the time, I do like orange and spice.

What do you put in it? Sugar? Lemon? Honey? Milk? Other?
Sugar is the usual addition that I mix with it. However, someone suggested mixing cocoa powder once and I found it rather yummy.

Do you prefer herbal, black, or white tea? Does it vary based on your mood/circumstances?
Typically you will find me drinking herbal tea, but on occasion I will consume black tea. I tried that white stuff from my Japanese friend and didn't like it too much.

Would you ever switch from coffee to tea and why?
I dislike the taste of coffee. Tea forever!

Since I got ill and the doctor said that coffee is not good lfor me anymore ( ), I started to drink tea, with honey (well, too much sugar is not good for me either... damn!) and I started to like it a lot, lemon flavour is my favorite!

I just love BUYING tea, all the sweet packaging and wonderful descriptions. trouble is, I just can't DRINK tea! I hate it, I've tried and tried but just can't bear the taste. I'm a coffee girl through and through. All my Canadian friends think I'm just weird "But you're English, you must drink tea, surely?" :)

Do you drink tea?
Does Chai tea count?:D

What flavors are your favorite or do you just like it plain?
Mint and orange

What do you put in it? Sugar? Lemon? Honey? Milk? Other?
Well, if you add honey, milk, and some sugar-you have a chai tea. I normally just mix sugar with it-though I don't drink tea that much.

Do you prefer herbal, black, or white tea? Does it vary based on your mood/circumstances?
Herbal-and I pay out the nose for it too.
Would you ever switch from coffee to tea and why?

BLASPHEMY!   I would never do so. Although I enjoy tea-- coffee, lattes, cappuccinos, Americanos, and the five hundred other drinks at a coffeehouse have me addicted. Not only that, but coffee has health benefits as well.

We must've been separated at birth-Earl Grey is awesome.
What is it about Earl Grey that makes it taste like that? You either love it or hate it (I'm the latter). I thought there was a particular ingredient in its content that made it taste so different from other black teas. And also, what's 'Lady Grey'?

I am rather partial to Earl Grey

Tea is something that I really can't stand. Just the smallest sip makes me want to puke. It tastes like rancid dish water!

It's true that teabag tea is the very lowest grade, typically insipid and off tasting. Teabag tea is to real tea what instant coffee is to real coffee.

I don't like any tea. I'm an open minded person. Even when I don't like something I will always try it again. Many tea loving friends and acquaintances have given me many differnt teas to try, and they are all nasty to me. I have tried all the "good" teas such as the ones you mentioned up thread, green tea, and various fruit teas. I hate them all.

Just one of those things.

Do you drink tea? Yes! I must have my tea every morning and before I go to bed.

What flavors are your favorite or do you just like it plain? My favorite is definately earl grey but sometimes I drink cinamon or sleepytime.

What do you put in it? Sugar? Lemon? Honey? Milk? Other? Sugar substitute and milk.

Do you prefer herbal, black, or white tea? Does it vary based on your mood/circumstances? I think black is the best.

Would you ever switch from coffee to tea and why? Sometimes I drink coffee in the morning because my botfriend makes it.

Do you drink tea? Yes, especially during cool weather

What flavors are your favorite or do you just like it plain? I like Chai Spice, too, as well as fruity/herbal blends

What do you put in it? Just a small spoonful of sugar

Do you prefer herbal, black, or white tea? Does it vary based on your mood/circumstances? No real prefernce, just whatever strikes me at the moment I want tea.

Would you ever switch from coffee to tea and why? I could easily switch, I just have no reason to at the moment.
