I don't see the point in releasing the trailer a year early unless they are planning on releasing the book on paperback in America and need a few more sales.
Hey, you there! Are you dissin' me??? *I* happen to like Miss Congeniality. I think it's one of Sandry Bullock's better films, and it's funny in places too.Wabbit said:There's just no telling! Can you believe that some people even like Miss Congeniality?

Looks like the lightsaber duel has to happen, Darth Wabbit! And once I have minced bunny meat I'll come down to Holland for you, Martin [evil laugh].
I actually thought The Da Vinci Code was very enjoyable, even though I've enjoyed Snow Crash too. I'm looking forward for the movie, though I don't really like Hanks.

Plenty actually althoguh I don't mind Tom Hanks, he's quite a good actor I think.Sar said:I can't believe it's got Tom Hanks in the lead role - what more of a reason do you need not to watch it?

I read it and enjoyed it, but it is pathetic that it's still selling so well.
A pretty sad indictement on people's literary tastes I would've thought...SFG75 said:It is amazing-if you check out Amazon.com, it's #4

The point is though that he is liked by most. Da Vinci will make for a good story in the movies and they should be able to make it likeable to many people.
SFG75 said:This film has every ingredient for success. The director is Ron Howard, who doesn't churn out flops. You have Tom Hanks as the lead male role, I mean-what more could you need? Not only that, but it's based on a hit book and you know that on opening day, this one is going to crush records. The estimated price to make is $125 million, and you even have the French prime minister offering to guarantee a smooth sailing in filming in France if certain favors are granted.
