I finished this book last night and absolutely couldn't put it down. It is a mystery set in Victorian England, but has a high-tech twist. The story starts with Eddie, who is a street-urchin, who steals wallets. When he steals the wallet of George Archer, he gets himself mixed up in a mystery involving a mad-man, creatures that should be long-dead, and a plot to unleash horrors into the city. Eddie, along with the help of George and a few others, must work to solve the mystery and stop the mad-man before his creatures are allowed to walk the street of London.
I highly recommend this book for male young adult readers, as this fits in with the genre they usually like to read and it's a very good and thrilling mystery. I picked it up on a whim, and I am very glad that I did.
