You're asking quite a difficult question, my favs change all the time, as I suspect do a lot of peoples. But here goes:

Fav album(s)?
When I want something loud and fast - Doolittle by The Pixies
When I want to think about the music I'm lisening to - The Complete Birth of the Cool by Miles Davis
When I want to relax and empty my mind - Of Rivers and Religion by John Fahey
When I'm already "relaxed" - Essential Dub by King Tubby (and anything he did with The Aggrovators)
Shagging Album (oh shut up, we've all got one) - Never Loved a Man the Way I Love You by Aretha Franklin

Fav band(s)? If I tried listing them, I'd just keep coming back to this thread and kicking myself for the ones I forgot.

Fav song(s)? Changes every day but Waiting for Mary by Pere Ubu has stuck longer than most

Fav lyrics(s)? Everybody Knows by Leonard Cohen

Album(s) that mean something to you? Mainly ones that remaind me of certain times and certain people in my life, and I'm not telling you that.

Current album you’re in love with? Mmmm, it's been a while since I heard an album I couldn't stop playing, but The Essential Sly and the Family Stone by Sly and the Family Stone is getting pretty regular airings at the mo...

Wow, excellent taste! Nobody ever seems to really acknowledge Portishead. Although my favorite of their albums is the self titled. On a different note the Forty Licks compilation is a must for any stones fan. Good collection.

Favorite band: Sublime

Favorite album: 40 oz. to Freedom

Favorite artist: Beethoven; not trying to be trendy or 'classy' or anything. I'm actually a classical musician with hugely varying tastes. I just can't deny the true master of his place on the throne.

Favorite lyrics: Thin Line: Jurassic 5

See you like Evanescence so does my 12 yr old she loves them :)
 
LOL. Yeah, a lot of kids like Evanescence. Actually, I think that's a good thing. Amy Lee is a good female role model--yes, I know she drinks, but she's 23 so that's okay--and she doesn't sleep around, wear revealing clothes, or do crazy publicity stunts to attract attention. If I had kids, I'd much rather them listen to Evanescence than be crazy over Paris Hilton--who I hear is coming out with an album. T_T

Now come on guys, at least it will get her off the streets for a while and in to some gainful employment. Just what the end result will be though is too ghastly to imagine:rolleyes:

Well, if the news was that she'd been hired to clerk at Walmart, it wouldn't be making intelligent people reach for cotton balls to plug their ears:D
 
Can you honestly see her working in Walmart and lasting more than five minutes? Walmart's profit margin would take a serious dive;)
