The New Jedi Order

Is the first one the one with witches and Han owning his own planet. If so then I have read that one and it is the best Star Wars book I have read.
 
No, it takes place 20+ years after Return of the Jedi. Han and Leia are married and have three children all studying to be Jedi, and Luke is married to Mara Jade. I believe the first book in the series is Vector Prime.
