the woodwork project, was not actually woodwork related, i was making a 1:20 scale model of a boat house out of plaster of paris for part of the studio work of my degree. i got the idea from the plaster models Gaudi used when creating la sagrada familia. Anyhowz Bazza (the workshop guy) helped me make a mould, seduce plaster from the ceramics department and generally make a right mess. When i finished it he told me that he thought what i was doing wasn't possible but he let me do it anyway as it's the best way to learn the limits of materials, he was quite suprised when i succeeded (after a fashion!).
that was the where that came from anyway!
