Fans of Icelandic music may be interested to know that The Sugarcubes are to reform. Sadly, it's only for a one-off gig in November marking the 20th anniversary of the band.

Of course, they could probably never reform properly these days due to the musical commitments of former vocalist, Björk Gudmundsdottir.

All I can remember of the Sugarcubes is watching the Chart Show at the weekend (showing my age) and diving for the remote as soon as the awful shrieking noise began. I really like Bjork but the Sugarcubes scared me.
