Today I'm Happy because....

I've had an eventful week, renewing several friendships from the dawn of time..or at least first grade! It's been neat finding out 'whatever happened to so and so', but sad too since sad stuff happens when this many years are involved. Still, I'm thrilled that one old friend and someone she introduced me to, are both avid readers. I've invited them both to BAR and WorldLitForum, so hopefully they'll find there way here and there. AND it's Friday Night Date night, so Mr. Abc and I get to threaten the urchins with torture if they trash the house this evening while we're out. AND, I have my stitching group this afternoon; should be fun.
 
Because I've finished two books the last two nights and because today is a great day at work-I will be able to work with the kids and o meetings to get in the way.;):D
 
Because I just spoke to the manager of a huge Borders store and I'm going to have a book signing there! Gave me a little confidence boost, said since I'd sold so many last time he was impressed.

I am elated today.Since before Christmas I have been looking for a Wii for my daughter and gave her two books for Christmas until we were able to find it.Well, today the day came,I stood in line for an hour,yes I did for my little pussycat,and bought her the whole kit and kaboodle.:D
