I know there must be a thousand lists out there with top Sci/Fi novels,
but let's make another one.
I'm going to start with my top five Sci/Fi novels.

Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card

The Hyperion Cantos by Dan Simmons.

The Gap Series by Stephen Donaldson

Nights Dawn Trilogy, by Peter F Hamilton

The Moon is a Harsh Mistress by Ray Bradbury,

Not my genre exactly, but I enjoyed Contact by Carl Sagan over and above Ender's Game, the only one from your list that I have read.
 
I've enjoyed sci-fi such as The Day of the Triffids and Chrysalids by John Wyndham. A Canticle for Leibowitz by Miller, Flood by Baxter. Mostly post-apocalyptic stuff.
 
I've only read Ender's Game and I thought it was alright. I actually really like Dave Kalsten's The Prodigy better.
 
"Dune" by Frank Herbert. Not so much the sequels, but I loved the first book. Same can be said about "Revelation Space" by Alastair Reynolds. Though I did like the following books in the series more then those with Dune.

I also agree with the "Hyperion Cantos" being included.
 
My all-time top five would be:

Inverted World - Christopher Priest
Ender's Game - Oson Scott Card
The Crysalids - John Wyndam
A Wrinkle in Time - Madelaine L'Engle
1984 - George Orwell

Though I could easily add another ten that I would also like in my top five.
 
I could never decide on a five that would never change. Here's what I came up with this time.

Mission of Gravity - Hal Clement
Hothouse - Brian Aldiss
The World Inside - Robert Silverberg
The Windup Girl - Paolo Bacigalupi
The Demolished Man - Alfred Bester
 
I'd put Neuromancer by William Gibson on my list. Probably Startide Rising by David Brin, Contact, 1984 and Hyperion.

Thanks for reminding me of Pattern Recognition by William Gibson...good stuff. And then there is H.G. Wells War of the Worlds.

I would certainly put Pattern Recognition at the top of my list - for me it was one of the most important books I've read. Very textural, prophetic - even though it's set in present times. Which reminds me - does it qualify for sci-fi even though it's a kinda present day science fiction book?

Never Let Me Go - Kazuo Ishiguro (debatable whether it's sci-fi but I'd argue the case)
