True Detective

Hello,
If there is already a thread for this show, I must have missed it, and I apologize.
I am curious if anyone out there has been watching True Detective on HBO. The season finale was last night and if anyone has been following it I would like to know their thoughts on it.
Personally, I was riveted to every episode. I don't think it was "Perfect", but I think it definitely earned a place with some of the best made, most entertaining television that I have ever seen.

One of the best series ever, right next to Sopranos, The wire, Rome... I fell in love immediately and was looking forward every week for a new episode. Trully a masterpiece. Looking forward to season 2, they'll have to work really hard to top the first one.

I saw that this season is supposed to star Colin Ferrel and Vince Vaughn (!??).

I've seen promos of this one and want to watch is but there's not enough time in the day.

I've finished first season.all on thanksgiving. My socks were rocked. but if Vince Vaughn will be starring in second season,I don't know if I'll be such a fan.

Me too. But.... I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt. The same people are producing and directing so I have to just trust them. But I don't want to.

But it's Vince Vaughn, VINCE VAUGHN!!!!! I am compelled to watch it. If it is rockin than I will be digging the Vince Vaughn lol he better pull some acting out of the hat.

The first season was really something out of this world. Too bad I can't erase my memory and watch it again . Yeah, Vince Vaugh, yikes! But hey, maybe he'll surprise us. I really don't like the cast, but I guess they know what they're doing.
