I just, within the past couple of months, stumbled across this hilarious comic strip called Unshelved (previously "Overdue"), which follows the trials and tribulations of the library staff of a public library. And yes, as a library staff member myself, we do get asked some of the questions in these strips.

Heh.. some of these comic strips are plastered all over the walls of the Circulation Department staff room.. this one is my particular favorite: Put EVERYTHING in the Book Drop!.
