Greetings and exultations, people of 'thebookforum.com'...

I have travelled many moons to get here...things look nice, so I guess I'll take it...Is this a cash only joint, or do you accept plastic?

No worries...either way, I'm blingin it. Word.

Anyway, this is only the second internet 'forum' I have ever been part of...The other one died a sorry death when I realised my brain was bigger than the box the other members' were roaming around in...shnoogins.

So...an introduction...hmmm...I'm 25, male and frickin funkin, if you know what I mean...which, if you don't is no great loss on your part either...

I love reading good books...and I hate wasting time with bad ones...I don't like any specific genres...basically if it entices me then I'll read it...

Last book I read was 'Goats' - funny, amusing and light...Before that it was 'AWOSG', which I thought was great, although I loved 'You Shall Know Our Velocity' more...

I like surfing(in the ocean), football, good movies, cooking, reading and blah-de-blah-blah...

Peas and carrots to you all...I guess I'll be seeing youse around...

EDIT: Oops...I forgot to add that I REALLY, REALLY hate 'smilies'...they make me want to puke all over the floor...plus things like 'LOL' or 'LMAO'...
 
Thanks...I knew as soon as I typed 'I REALLY, REALLY hate smilies', everyone would add one to their posts...OH THE TWISTED IRONY! WHY DOTH THOU MOCKETH METH?!?
 
I'm not the biggest fan of LOL and LMAO and ROTFL and some such abbrieviations, either. The only situation in which I am tempted to type LOL is when just that actually occurs - I am laughing out loud. Which is not often.

Ahh...but they are only used in a sardonic capacity...

I find that if I am 'laughing out loud', I usually type like this..."fijdwhjkhdsafjkahfdsjkhgfhjklgfjkhfjklhfdjklghklfdjlgh".
