It depends on when and where I'm reading.

At work or in the car - coke.
At home in the morning - coffee.
At home in the afternoon - coke or water.
At home after the evening meal - wine, water, or herb tea.

I too am a self professed coffee addict. My mug is an extension of my arm....sadly quite a few of my books my coffee stains......

I hear you about the arm extension thing. Coffee stains are just a mark of character. Mine also have cigar burns or ashes that fell way too early.

It really depends on the weather, and rarely alcoholic. I like coffee in the morning but rarely get to read at that tme of day, hot tea, chai or chocolate in cool weather, but prefer something cold during the summer, like lemonade, iced tea, or just plain water.

Baileys over ice. I also have a full espresso bar in the kitchen, so the possibilities are endless when it comes to coffee drinks.

Since it has been so hot, I made myself a big batch of sweet, iced tea and I've been sipping it while reading on my porch today.

Well it used to be either coffee or sprite remix for me, but since diagnosed with a bladder disease and put on a special diet, now it's just plain spring water.

Too much caffeine makes me hyper and I'm talking serious drug induced high with real coming-down symptoms the next day (not so hot).
